The demand for accurate measurement of somatic cells in milk is met by the NucleoCounter® SCC-100™ which combines ease-of-use technology with the fact that it offers minimum human subjectivity influencing the results. This makes it the ideal instrument for every quality-minded company and research facility. The SCC-100™ method uses the single-use SCC-Cassette™ sampling and measuring device. The NucleoCounter® SCC-100™ is a system which is virtually maintenance free, since the entire flow system is contained in the SCC-Cassette™, which is replaced between each measurement.

Somatic cell counter with up to 200 samples per hour
For laboratories and dairies measuring a high number of samples each day, the NucleoCounter® SCC-400™ offers a cost-effective alternative. Using a built-in flow system the NucleoCounter® SCC-400™ measures up to 12 µl of milk of each sample (Working Factor of 85), which provides excellent precision with a typical standard deviation of precision of 3 % or less at 400,000 cells/ml. In addition, the NucleoCounter® SCC-400™ offers sample throughput of up to 200 samples/hour without the need for pre-heating the samples (sample temperature 10-40 °C). Most importantly, the SCC-400™ instrument is based on ChemoMetec´s proven Image Cytometry technology which offers unparalleled performance stability with no need for regular routine calibration. The SCC-400™ is ideal for the small milk laboratory or dairy with the need to measure from 10 up to about 1,500 samples per day and, in larger arrays, will outperform more expensive instruments.
